Ally has been a part-time volunteer with WAHA since early 2009, helping out with report writing and advising on the organisation’s operational research strategy. Since completing her PhD in Public Health, Ally has been working as a Lecturer for the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in the UK, teaching epidemiology and statistics to Public Health and Epidemiology Masters students. Her research interests focus on access to maternal and HIV health services in Tanzania, and she has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals.
